Overview

Agente Imóvel is a Real Estate Tech Product offering services for buyers to search properties, calculate their mortgage costs, search property values and find mortgages. I took on and led this project with Propodo (An Israeli Real Estate Tech Company) after they acquired Agente Imóvel in Brazil in 2024. This site was originally in Portuguese but has been translated to English for presentational purposes.

Challenge

Agente Imóvel wanted to come up with a system for Brokers to be able to refer their clients to mortgage opportunities and receive kick back from the lenders. The challenges they had we're to create a new landing page that could capture conversion with brokers who visited the site as well as create a portal where brokers could go that could help them track their success as well as incentivize them to drive more traffic through their network of mortgage providers. In addition, a new custom separate landing page was made specifically for agents tailored to highlight and sell the new feature.

The Approach (Key Business Goals)

-To create a fun and engaging landing page that explained more simply the new service provided
-Create a a portal site specifically for agents to track referral progress and income generation
-To display the brands playful, colorful fun image and excite agents and users to engage
-To maintain a design system that reflected branding and ensured consistency / speed to implementation

Simplifying the Experience

I spoke to stakeholders to understand what were the needs that were most important to brokers. This helped me understand which data points to emphasize most and we were able to scale down the number of measurable fields on the dashboard (see above) from 11 to 5. In addition, noticing there was a lot of data being collected in the client referral form I set up for the brokers to be able to simply share a link so that clients could fill it out for themselves. 

Exploration

I experimented with various layouts to understand which ones made the most sense. These helped me visualize different concepts for the landing page and helped understand a way quick and easy way for users to fill out the sign up form. 

Results

We shipped and iterated after 2 rounds of prototypes.  This created a new revenue stream for the company and gave brokers agency over the banking side of their business and allowed them to generate a new stream of income and track it with ease.
